Need a Moment? The BE TIME Meditation Bus Makes Weekly Stops in NoMad

For NoMad residents and workers who need time to take a breath but don’t have time to visit a meditation studio, BE TIME offers a solution: Let the studio come to you. Through the summer months, the BE TIME mobile Meditation Bus will be stopping each Monday in front of the James New York-NoMad at 29th and Madison Avenue for #MeditationMondays from 8:00 am through 2:00 pm.

Thanks to a partnership with the James, hotel guests will receive complimentary access to meditation classes on the bus each Monday. The general public can also join a 15-minute class for $11 ora 30-minute class for $22.

What Is BE TIME?

In keeping with the rising popularity of mindfulness practices in today’s hectic world, BE TIME has taken an innovative approach to making meditation available to the busy individual. The BE TIME bus travels to a different busy hub of NYC each day to provide mindfulness opportunities to as many people as possible. Inside the bus is a fully equipped meditation studio with relaxing lighting and plush seating where sessions are conducted throughout the day.

The James isn’t the only place in NoMad where you can find the BE TIME bus. The calendar includes stops at Madison Square Park averaging once per week, which means NoMad currently gets as many as two weekly opportunities to get on the bus and find some peace.

How to Join In

According to the BE TIME website, walk-ups are welcome to get on the bus, provided they have previously signed up for a free account and space is available. However, BE TIME typically recommends reserving a time slot using its online schedule. Guests of the James New York-NoMad can register for #MeditationMondays for free, using the promo code provided by the hotel.
