No sooner than we talk about NoMad’s popularity with digital nomads, a new coworking space moves in! AlleyNYC, a new coworking provider headed by CEO Jason Saltzman, has chosen NoMad as the locale for its flagship location.

AlleyNYC, which raised $16 million in a Series A round, recently leased 36,000 square feet of space at 119-125 West 24th Street. The property, previously part of the Ring portfolio, is owned and managed by The Kaufman Organization. Rental prices in the building are estimated at $65 per square foot, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Describing itself as “the most badass coworking space on the planet,” AlleyNYC seeks to create a supportive, innovative community of start-ups and entrepreneurs that both work hard and play hard, as evidenced by office-wide happy hours and social events.

AlleyNYC will certainly be in good company in NoMad, where a new entrepreneurial company opens nearly every day and the entire neighborhood is already experienced in the daily transition between work and play. We look forward to seeing what exciting new businesses come to NoMad through AlleyNYC’s offices.
